How goes the battle with everyone? What a bizarre day yesterday was. First Farrah finally lost her battle with cancer..........I felt really bad for her because she was so brave and so strong fighting til the very end. Then the news about Michael Jackson??? I heard the reports at first and thought, oh this is just drama and then............just a few hours later? I was in shock as I'm sure most people were/are. Quite the eventful week. And, I agree with you Leanne. Let the ones you love know it and live each day of life to its fullest. We never know what is around the corner for any of us. My big news is that today my son turns 18. I cannot believe that. I don't know who is more excited between he and I. We are getting ready to go to the court house and get the car title put in his name and then it is off to the insurance agency to change the policy. Later on, we are going to my parents and having dinner. And, I am sure he has plans after that. It has been so busy at work lately. It seems like it is nonstop as soon as I go in until I leave. But, I like it being busy. Hope everyone has a great day and an even better weekend. Jo Anna

Yeah...okay...so I used that line on my FaceBook page...so what... It's MISERABLE haht here today...and no relief anywhere in sight. We're heading out to Cleveland on Monday for vacation, I just hope it's a LITTLE cooler farther north, by the lake. And yes...even if Kiss and Alice Cooper BOTH are NOT in the Hall of Fame, we're NOT letting that stop us from going and enjoying it for what it is. Some folks seem to think that just because their favorite isn't in the building, that they are going to boycott. Not this one. That's just...kinda silly in my books... If I DON'T see you any more this weekend, have a great week, folks! Seeya real soon! Who watches the Watchmen? So say we all.

I know that I have been MIA for a while, but seriously, just a busy time in my life! It WILL slow down soon, I hope! We just got back from Kansas City. We went to see John Edwards, WE TV. Sorry I've been MIA for a while, just been a bit busy down here. It's too hot here today and looks like it might stay that way for a while. I'm just glad it's not too humid! My nephew Andy is going to be staying with us for a while and going to school. From the conversation we had the other night, I might have someone in my corner when it comes to mum and my older sis letting my 13(!) year old niece drive my car across the road. I've tried to tell them that if she were to have an accident I would be the one up shit creek. But alas, no one listens to me. Claiming I drove with out a license (maybe so but I wasn't 13 and allowed to do so by myself!!)--one big diff. I was 18 and had a permit---got my license late due to being in a full body brace for my back. Oh well. I had a good time when I went to TN. Didn't make Millionaire, but I did get to see some relatives and an old friend from college I'd not seen in years.....she's lost over 150 lbs!!!! Woo Hoo!!!! I remembered something wild earlier today when they were talking about MJ. I went to college with a guy who was one of the zombies in the video for "Thriller" (third zombie to the left in a green suit.) Well, off to peruse the bbs and check some email. Ta Ta folks! Paradise Member Posts: 882 (06/26/09 11:53 PM) Sinful More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	when someone told me michael jackson died i was waiting for the punch line cuz i thought it was a joke. i think him dieing is about as big as when elvis died...he was the icon for my older sisters generation and michael was the icon for my generation. i had the off the wall, thriller and bad albums and every high school whenever a michael jackson song came we were all trying to moondance...some not so successfully. no matter how eccentric he got to be it was a love/hate thing...you either loved hating him or hated loving him. the guy was a genius and put out great music and dance moves. the music world lost a legend.
